Mokwheel Obsidian: Suspension
Suspension

Front fork plus a rear air shock.

A 130mm fork and a 50mm air shock let both wheels move, so the Obsidian stays planted on washboard dirt roads, shell rock and broken pavement. It is the most comfortable bike in our Mokwheel lineup on rough ground, and Tony sets the shock for your weight.

Fullsuspension
Motor

Real climbing power.

Mokwheel rates the rear hub motor at 750W, 1000W continuous and 1300W peak, with 105 Nm of torque. That is more push than the Tor Plus or Basalt, and you feel it on bridge climbs and soft ground.

105 Nmtorque
Torque sensor

Assist that matches your effort.

The torque sensor measures how hard you press the pedals and adds power to match, so the bike surges when you dig in and stays calm when you ease off. Smoother on the trail, and easier on the battery.

Mokwheel Obsidian: Drivetrain
Drivetrain

Eight gears for everything else.

A Shimano 8-speed gives you a low gear for steep or sandy stretches and a tall one for cruising. Pair it with the 48V 19.6Ah battery, which Mokwheel rates at 60 to 80 miles.

About this bike

Mokwheel Obsidian

The Obsidian is the Mokwheel for riders who leave the pavement. A 50mm air shock under the seat and a 130mm fork up front let the 4 inch tires stay planted on dirt roads, shell rock and rough trail, while the torque sensor and Shimano 8-speed keep the power smooth on the climbs. It is also simply a very comfortable bike on bumpy streets. Tony builds and safety-checks every one before it leaves the shop.
