An electric trike is a 3 wheel electric bike that stands up on its own: no balancing at stop signs, a low frame you step into, a real seat and a basket for the groceries. Ours are built and safety-checked by Tony at the shop in North Palm Beach, where Lake Park Bicycles has been since 1975.

The JT18 is built for riders who want an e-bike without the balancing. Three wheels and a rear differential keep it planted at a stop and through turns, the low frame is easy to step into, and the seat has a backrest. Five assist levels go from 6 to 16 mph, there is a twist throttle and cruise control, and a parking lock holds it in place while you load the baskets. It folds, too. Tony builds and safety-checks every one, and the $799 is out the door.
White and Black. Phone holder and mirrors included.
Three wheels stand on their own. Stop at a light, put your feet down if you like, and it stays upright.
The JT18 frame is low and open, so there is no leg to swing over a bar.
A wide seat with a backrest, set as low as 18.9 inches. Comfortable for a long ride along the water.
A big rear basket and a front basket carry groceries, a beach bag or the dog's supplies.
Five assist levels from 6 to 16 mph, a twist throttle and cruise control. You set the pace.
A parking lock holds the trike still while you load up or climb on.
A rear differential lets the back wheels turn at their own speed, so corners feel planted.
The frame folds for a garage corner, a condo storage room or the back of an SUV.
Online trikes show up in a carton with a bag of bolts. Ours do not. Tony assembles every JT18 at the shop, sets the brakes and gears, torques every bolt, and gives it a full safety check before anyone rides it. Then we fit it to you: seat height, backrest, handlebars. If it ever needs work, bring it back to the same bench that built it.

For many riders, yes. A trike stands up on its own, so there is no balancing at a stop, and the JT18 adds a low step-through frame, a seat with a backrest, a gentle 16 mph top speed and a parking lock. The best way to know is a test ride, and you can take one at the shop.
Yes. The black JT18 is at the shop now. Call 561-842-0303 and we will have it charged and ready for a ride around the lot.
Jasion lists five assist levels at 6, 8, 10, 13 and 16 mph, and up to 60 miles of range on its 48V 13Ah battery. Real range depends on rider weight, wind and how much you pedal.
Florida law defines an electric bicycle as "a bicycle or tricycle" with fully operable pedals, a seat and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (F.S. 316.003), and an electric bicycle is not subject to driver license, registration or insurance requirements (F.S. 316.20655). Cities and counties can add their own age or ID rules. Jasion lists the JT18 motor at 1,200W, so ask us about your situation and check your local rules before you ride.
Yes, in the shop. We fully service every e-bike and e-trike brand we sell. E-bike and e-trike repairs are done in the shop only, not through pickup and delivery.
