A 750W rear hub motor with 1100W peak and 90 Nm of torque, per Mokwheel. Plenty for the bridges and a stiff sea breeze, and the torque sensor keeps it smooth rather than jumpy.
Most budget e-bikes only sense that the pedals are turning. The Basalt ST 2.0 measures how hard you push and matches it, so starts are gentle and the bike feels like a bike. That also tends to stretch the battery further.
The 48V 19.6Ah (940Wh) battery is rated at 60 to 80 miles by Mokwheel. Turn signals are built into the frame and the tail light sits on the rear rack, so drivers on US-1 know where you are headed.

Yes. ST stands for step-through: the frame dips low in the middle so you step through it instead of swinging a leg over. Our two are the Standard size, for riders about 5'2" to 6'4".
